Bahamas. Significant achievements 2010
Abstract
The main activities carried out by the Institute in the Bahamas during 2011 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as good agricultural practices, research, trade, financing, market, fishing, school gardens, production, control of pests, technical support, food safety, through the Codex Alimentarius and value chains of ruminants, seeds, vegetables and tubers. Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Bahamas durante el 2011, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como buenas prácticas agrícolas, investigación, comercio, financiamiento, mercado, pesca, huertos escolares, producción, control de plagas, apoyo técnico, inocuidad alimentaria, por medio del Codex Alimentarius y cadenas de valor de rumiantes, semillas, hortalizas y tubérculos.
